3 Weeks Off

  In Derby, VT, there wasn't a whole lot to do over break.  It was quite monotonous.  I watched a lot of snowboard videos like the one above. The best part of my break was making a road trip to Rhode Island to pick up a friend of mine with another bro riding shotgun.  I made my traverse while the airports were flooded with holiday travelers.  That was an interesting media experience.  What I like about 21st century media is the connectivity and ease of information location.  In the same token, being so connected really diminishes the impact of the great outdoors on your life.  In a teen's mind:  Outdoors < Facebook.  Yet, Facebook is one of the most successful websites around today.  So in the end, profiting from media in society is a goal of mine.  Who doesn't want to take a trip to the Alps whenever they're bored, right?
